TreVeyon Henderson (RB – NE)
TreVeyon Henderson continues to soar up the ranks because he’s looked great in camp and preseason. This is an explosive runner who can make a major impact in the passing game. The Patriots desperately need playmakers who can generate chunk yardage, so there’s a legitimate chance Henderson is already their most important weapon on offense.
George Pickens (WR – DAL)
George Pickens is a fantasy community favorite, myself included. This is a talented wideout who can win on the perimeter by making big plays and contested catches downfield. Now joining a pass-heavy Cowboys offense, Pickens looks like one of the best bets for a career year this season.
Emeka Egbuka (WR – TB)
The drumbeat for Emeka Egbuka simply has not stopped. After dominating throughout camp, the rookie wideout now has increased opportunity with Jalen McMillan injured, especially since Chris Godwin won’t be ready for the start of the season. That leaves Egbuka as the clear-cut No. 2 target in a pass-heavy offense.
Matthew Golden (WR – GB)
Matthew Golden is another rookie riser thanks to a strong camp that featured highlight-reel catches. With Jayden Reed injured, Golden has asserted himself as the top wideout in the Packers’ offense. Expect more passing volume from Green Bay this season, as Jordan Love is back to full health after playing injured last year.
Jacory Croskey-Merritt (RB – WSH)
After the Commanders traded Brian Robinson Jr. to the 49ers, the runway is clear for Jacory Croskey-Merritt to lead this committee. The seventh-round rookie has been the talk of camp, forcing the team to move on from Robinson. While Austin Ekeler and Chris Rodriguez will see touches, Croskey-Merritt has the highest upside of the group.
