7 Fantasy Football Draft Values: FFPC Picks to Target (2025)

7 Fantasy Football Draft Values: FFPC Picks to Target (2025)

One of the most established high-stakes platforms around is FFPC (Fantasy Football Players Championship), where drafts start from $35 and go as high as your budget can imagine. The unique aspect of FFPC scoring is the tight end-premium scoring, where they accumulate an extra 0.5 points per reception, on top of the regular PPR scoring.

Because of this, the thirst for tight ends is real, and that sometimes can allow other gems to slide further down in average draft position (ADP) than they should be. In July, when we looked at the ADP for FFPC, names like Jaylen Waddle, who is up 10 spots since, Colston Loveland, who is up 30 spots, and Will Shipley made this list. Now, as we near the regular season, these are the players trending upward.

Best Fantasy Football Draft Values: FFPC Leagues

Jacory Croskey-Merritt (RB – WSH) | ADP: 146 & Chris Rodriguez (WR – WSH) | ADP: 203.4

We’ll put the two new names in the Commanders’ backfield in the same bucket, seeing as they both bring value to the table. Jacory Croskey-Merrit is a name that was barely getting drafted even a couple of weeks ago, but with the Commanders trading Brian Robinson Jr. to the 49ers, both ‘Bill’ Croskey-Merritt and Chris Rodriguez have a chance for fantasy relevance.

Croskey-Merritt has an ADP of 146 based on drafts over the last week, but don’t be surprised to see him going higher than that. The Commanders seem intent on giving Croskey-Merritt a chance to take this role, but it’s also worth considering Rodriguez, who had a couple of touchdowns last year along with 185 yards on 35 touches.

Croskey-Merritt is the more expensive of the two, leaving Rodriguez almost undrafted with an ADP of 203.4, which feels like a big difference given how little we know about either.

Xavier Worthy (WR – KC) | ADP: 48

Can anyone answer why Xavier Worthy is not being pushed up further in ADP, given Rashee Rice has been consistently falling over the last few weeks, as news of his impending suspension gives us a better idea of how many games he’ll miss? Much was expected of the fastest player ever to come into the NFL, and while he turned out to be a solid value, it was a little up and down.

Worthy saw 17 passes of 20+ yards last year, but only caught three of them. Some were Worthy’s fault, but he did have a 41% catchable target rate, and he ranked 61st among receivers with 10+ deep targets. Much of the blame also lies with Patrick Mahomes.

Mahomes seemed particularly upset by his performance downfield and has consistently talked all offseason about how it’s been a point of emphasis for him these last few months. At the very least, while Rice is suspended, we get a player who averaged 15.6 PPR points from Week 11 — the WR19 in that span. Worthy demands consideration.

Jaylen Waddle (WR – MIA) | ADP: 67

In the last month, despite Jonnu Smith being traded to the Steelers, Jaylen Waddle’s ADP has only risen by 3.2 spots, which seems unfathomable when he’s risen nine spots on Underdog. The Miami Dolphins were bad in 2024, and they’ll likely be bad again in 2025, but there are reasons for optimism around Waddle, even for those he burned in 2024.

The Dolphins’ defense looks set to be one of the worst in the NFL, particularly now that they’ve traded away Jalen Ramsey, leaving Storm Duck as their most recognised cornerback. This should lead to the Dolphins allowing plenty of points and, in turn, passing the ball more themselves.

Waddle led the team in yards per target (1.74) and yards per reception (12.83); he simply needed the ball more often. Tua Tagovailoa ranked third in pass attempts per game (36.3) but missed five games in the regular season. Waddle averaged 4.79 more PPR points in games with Tagovailoa last year, and it’s not hard to imagine a bounce-back this year. At pick 67, Waddle feels undervalued by at least a round.

Tyler Allgeier (RB – ATL) | ADP: 161

Since we last looked at these values, Tyler Allgeier has fallen 10 further spots in ADP, and this writer, for one, will not stand for it. The gap between Allgeier and Bijan Robinson is the eighth-biggest gap between a No. 1 RB and a No. 2 RB in the league, and 15 RB2s are drafted before Allgeier, who finished 10th in explosive run rate in 2024 and seventh in juke rate.

Yes, Robinson is a spectacular player and could very well end up as the fantasy RB1 overall this year, but that only furthers Allgeier’s case as one of the most valuable handcuffs in fantasy football.

Will Shipley (RB – PHI) | ADP: 171

By now, if you haven’t heard the conversations surrounding running backs coming off 400+ touches, you might be one of the lucky few, as it’s been a hot topic. There is also a history of running backs coming off 1,500 yards failing to live up to expectations in the following years, furthering the case that Saquon Barkley might be in for a rough season, given his cost.

Will Shipley is the clear No. 2 RB in Philadelphia with only A.J. Dillon behind him, who missed the entirety of 2024 with a neck injury and hasn’t looked good for a while.

C.J. Stroud (QB – HOU) | ADP: 134

Has the fade on C.J. Stroud gone a little bit too far? It’s possible. Stroud was a complete wet fart in 2024, failing massively to live up to an overly inflated ADP that saw him be a top-six quarterback in many drafts. The thing is, that was never a good price for him.

Stroud finished as the QB12 in 2023, with a strong advance rate, having been drafted at 180th overall, but he didn’t belong in the top tier, having had only two top-five weekly finishes in 2023 and putting up only two of the top-100 quarterback fantasy performances in his rookie year.

Stroud was a victim of hype that he couldn’t live up to as the Texans regressed heavily, and his 14.6 rushing yards per game ranked 28th among quarterbacks, failing to help him come close to the truly elite players at his position. Now, though, at pick 134, maybe it’s time to take a breath and try again.

The Texans have a woeful offensive line and two aging running backs in Joe Mixon and Nick Chubb, which could lead to them having to rely on the quick passing game more often than not. With Nico Collins, Jaylin Noel, Jayden Higgins and Christian Kirk, it seems hard to imagine Stroud not having some fantasy value above this current rate.
