Fantasy Football Mock Draft (2025)

Fantasy Football Mock Draft (2025)

For our latest fantasy football mock draft, let’s break down how I approach picking from the middle of the pack in a non-PPR league.

I like drafting either inside the first three picks or the last three picks, but in this case, let’s see how I handle the 1.06 draft slot with the default roster settings on Yahoo of 1-QB, 2-RB, 2-WR, 1-Flex, 1-TE, 1-D/ST and 1-Kicker.

1.06: CeeDee Lamb (WR – DAL)

I have been drafting a lot of CeeDee Lamb, and I am OK with it. I think this Dallas offense is going to be one of the best in the league.

Other options included Derrick Henry, Puka Nacua and Christian McCaffrey. It was a pretty easy decision for me to take Lamb. In a standard, non-PPR league, I could understand an argument for Henry. If Jahmyr Gibbs had fallen to the sixth pick, I probably would have taken him over Lamb.

2.07: Josh Jacobs (RB – GB)

I wanted to get at least one bell-cow back at this spot and had many options to choose from, including Chase Brown, Kyren Williams and Bucky Irving.

This pick came down to Jacobs and Irving, with my Packer fandom being the tie-breaker.

3.06: Trey McBride (TE – ARI)

This was my first chance at landing Trey McBride. I wanted to go with another running back, but I preferred McBride over the likes of James Cook and David Montgomery.

McBride is my TE1 heading into this year. Last year, among the 47 qualified tight ends, he was first in target share, second in receiving yards per game, third in yards per route run and led the league in first downs per route run.

4.07: Marvin Harrison (WR – ARI)

I like Marvin Harrison Jr. more so in non-PPR leagues due to his big-play ability. In his rookie season, he didn’t pull in a ton of receptions, recording six or more catches in a game just twice last season. But he can make big splash plays that will be a benefit in non-PPR leagues.

5.06: TreVeyon Henderson (RB – NE)

I needed to land a running back here as options were starting to get thin. Henderson showed his explosiveness last week with his 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. He will have to share time with Rhamondre Stevenson, but Henderson should separate himself sooner rather than later. He is a special talent.

Isiah Pacheco, Joe Mixon, Aaron Jones and Tony Pollard were also still on the board at this pick. I still feel Henderson was the right choice

6.07: Courtland Sutton (WR – DEN)

Courtland Sutton will once again be Bo Nix‘s No. 1 WR in 2025. They did add Evan Engram, but Sutton has big-play ability, and I feel confident with him as my WR3.

7.06: Kyler Murray (QB – ARI)

I had to complete the Cardinals stack, and having a dual-threat quarterback is a plus.

8.07: Quinshon Judkins (RB – CLE)

I have stayed away from Quinshon Judkins in most mock drafts I have done thus far due to his off-the-field issues. At this point, though, I am taking a shot, hoping the worst-case scenario is a six-game suspension, allowing him to return to the team for a late-season run.

9.06: Jayden Reed (WR – GB)

Packers receivers had a terrible 2024, leading the league in drops, which is probably why they felt the need to finally draft a wideout in the first round in Matthew Golden.

Either way, Jayden Reed was phenomenal as a rookie and caught a case of the sophomore slump. The Packers’ offense is going to be one of the best in the NFL, and as long as they have Matt LaFleur and Jordan Love, the targets will be there for Reed.

10.05: Jerome Ford (RB – CLE)

If Quinshon Judkins does miss time due to his legal matter, I assume Jerome Ford will be the Browns’ No. 1 RB.

11.06: Nick Chubb (RB – HOU)

From a current Browns running back to a former one. Nick Chubb could see some early-season action as Joe Mixon is expected to miss some time.

At this point, I am just adding some depth to my running back room.

12.05: David Njoku (TE – CLE)

Let the Cleveland Browns theme continue. With Trey McBride on my roster, adding another tight end wasn’t a priority, but at this point in the draft, I was just adding the best available player.

13.06: Denver Broncos D/ST

I took advantage of being the first person to select a D/ST. There is nothing wrong with taking the top fantasy defense from last season.

14.05: Brandon Aubrey (K – DAL)

Again, I was leading the charge, as Brandon Aubrey was the first kicker drafted. The Cowboys’ offense is going to be one of the best in the league, and that should lead to multiple scoring opportunities for Aubrey.

15.06: Will Shipley (RB – PHI)

The last round is always a dart throw, but it can’t hurt to take Saquon Barkley‘s handcuff. If anything were to happen to Barkley early in the season, Shipley turns any team into a potential league winner.
