No rest for the wicked, am I right? If you lost in Week 1, your season is far from over. Time to get back out there and make some deals to shore up your team for Week 2. If you won, this isn’t the time to stay quiet on the sidelines either. The only way you win the year is by winning every week you can. Let’s get into some of my dynasty fantasy football stashes for Week 2.

Dynasty Fantasy Football Stashes to Add: Week 2
Zach Wilson (QB – MIA)
A familiar name tops my list and is the only quarterback I’m targeting this week. The only reason Zach Wilson makes my dynasty stash list is because the Dolphins, and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa in particular, are just in a bad place right now. On top of that, there’s a world where head coach Mike McDaniel is the first coach fired this year. If that happens, or if an injury happens to Tagovailoa, Wilson could see a lot more action.
For instance, in Week 1, 34 quarterbacks recorded fantasy points, and Wilson ranked 33rd. He was put into the game for the team’s last series with 2:18 left in the game. He connected on 5-of-8 passes for 32 yards and ran the ball once for three yards. His 1.6 fantasy points weren’t far behind Cam Ward‘s 2.5. I’m not saying Wilson will take over the job, or that he’s going to win you your league, but if you’re stashing any backup quarterbacks, Wilson should be at the top of your list.
Woody Marks (RB – HOU)
Depending on your league, Woody Marks is likely already rostered, but I think he’s worth acquiring if the price is right. In Week 1, he ran the ball three times for three yards. That might seem like nothing, but Houston gave the ball to four different backs, and Marks was tied with Dameon Pierce for second in carries.
Dare Ogunbowale got two of his own and did more with them, so perhaps the current Marks manager is looking to move off of him for a shinier object. Send a DM and see what you can do. Marks will be in starting lineups sooner rather than later.
Tank Bigsby (RB – PHI)
Another running back likely already rostered just changed teams in an early-season trade. Tank Bigsby was supposed to be spending a lot of time this winter in a timeshare in Jacksonville, but instead will be spending the winter in much colder Philadelphia. The Eagles traded for Bisgby to return kicks, or so they say, but they also saw backup ball-carrier Will Shipley get hurt in Week 1.
This means that Bisgby could be in line for running back work at some point, making him an attractive target to stash. If you can find a dynasty manager who either didn’t see the news or just doesn’t like bench running backsElic to get traded, now is the time to strike.
Elic Ayomanor (WR – TEN)
This rookie was being drafted in the last round or two of rookie drafts all summer and landed squarely on the radar heading into Week 1. Elic Ayomanor didn’t do much in his debut, catching two of his seven targets for 13 yards, but those seven targets are exciting.
If the Tennessee offense is going to send seven balls Ayomanor’s way, I want in. Perhaps his current dynasty manager only watches the box score and is looking for help at another position. This could be the time to add him before he blows up in the coming weeks. I don’t usually chase points, but I do chase volume, and Ayomanor saw plenty of volume.
Michael Wilson (WR – ARI)
For deeper leagues, or for those crazy enough to enjoy diving deeper into the waiver wire, I give you Michael Wilson. Much like Ayomanor, I’m chasing volume here. Wilson caught one of his four targets for a measly five yards and finished as the fantasy WR105 on the week.
Surprisingly, that’s only four spots behind where A.J. Brown finished for the week, but I digress. Wilson has potential on a Cardinals offense that really only has Marvin Harrison Jr. and Trey McBride as options ahead of him right now. Snag him off waivers if he’s still there, or send a future fourth-round pick for him if someone else is willing to deal him.
Cade Stover (TE – HOU)/Dalton Schultz (TE – HOU)
With the news of Cade Stover being placed on injured reserve (IR), he becomes a prime stash candidate. If your league has IR slots and you’re not using them, add and stash Stover. If you’d prefer your stashes not to be injured, then consider teammate Dalton Schultz instead.
Both finished as top-26 right ends this week, with Stover finishing above Schultz (TE25 vs. TE26) due to his four catches to Schultz’s three. Neither really impressed that much, but now that one is injured, the other should collect more targets. I’m fine adding both in deeper leagues where you might need tight end help.
