Joe Burrow confirmed to undergo surgery for toe injury
Joe Burrow will be undergoing surgery for his toe injury and will be sidelined for an extended period of time.
Fantasy Impact
Burrow suffered a toe injury during Sunday’s win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the team has confirmed that he will be undergoing surgery to repair the issue. That is expected to leave him sidelined for several months, with his return preliminarily being targeted for sometime in December. This makes him not worth holding onto in most fantasy leagues and will significantly hurt the fantasy value of players like Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins moving forward.

Aaron Jones Sr. (hamstring) likely out Week 3
Aaron Jones Sr. (hamstring) is likely out this week as he deals with a hamstring injury he suffered on Sunday night.
Fantasy Impact
With Jones missing time things will open up for Jordan Mason to be the lead back in Minnesota. With reports JJ McCarthy may also miss time, Mason’s upside might be limited, however. Hamstring injuries have a bad tendency to linger, so don’t be surprised if Jones is out for a couple weeks or has this pop up once again after he returns.

Jayden Daniels (knee) status uncertain for Week 3
Jayden Daniels (knee) status is uncertain for Week 3 after an MRI revealed he sustained a sprained knee near the end of the Commanders game against the Packers on Thursday.
Fantasy Impact
Daniels status being in doubt is huge news for fantasy managers. He came up limping towards the end of the Packers game, and while the severity is unknown, you’d have to think the Commanders will take their time nursing their franchise QB back to health. Were he to miss, Marcus Mariota is the top backup in the Washington depth chart.
