Players to Sell High in Week 10

Sell High

Who is your favorite sell-high candidate after Week 8 and why? Also, who would you try to get in return?

Rome Odunze (WR – CHI)

“We’re probably a few weeks late here, but I’m reminded of Jenny’s prayer from Forrest Gump when discussing Rome Odunze: ‘Dear God, make me a bird so I can fly far, far, far away from here.’ After what should have been viewed as an unsustainable first four weeks of the season (20/296/4 on 35 targets), Odunze has fallen off. Last week, he was 0dunze with no receptions on three targets. Check, please!”
Matt De Lima (Athlon Sports)

Dalton Kincaid (TE – BUF)

“On the year, Dalton Kincaid has overperformed as the TE7 in PPR points per game. That’s well ahead of his TE17 rank in expected PPG. Kincaid’s low, 58% route rate suggests he’ll carry a low floor going forward, especially with Buffalo rolling out a balanced offense. Following a recent hot streak – 100 yards in two of his past three – see if you can flip Kincaid for a low-end WR2 or RB2.”
Kevin English (Draft Sharks)

Rico Dowdle (RB – CAR)

“Selling high is one of the hardest things to do in fantasy football. How can you part with a guy who has carried you for weeks? If I found an interested owner, I’d get brave and part with Rico Dowdle. If he could fetch a Jordan Addison, Jayden Waddle, or Chris Olave, I’d make the deal. Dowdle may continue to play well, but he can’t sustain his current pace.”
Steve Anagnos (Double G Sports)

Kyle Monangai (RB – CHI)

“Bears running back Kyle Monangai is a great story, a late-round pick out of Rutgers. His performance filling in for D’Andre Swift last week was nothing short of remarkable. Unfortunately, that type of production isn’t sustainable as Swift will return, and they don’t get to play the Bengals every week. Float some offers out as someone might think Monangai is locked into a big role ROS.”
Justin Jaksa (Dr. Roto)

J.K. Dobbins (RB – DEN)

“I’m slightly nervous that J.K. Dobbins might start losing more snaps and touches to rookie R.J. Harvey in the coming weeks as Harvey continues to demonstrate his value as a pass catcher. Dobbins continues to be an effective runner, but he has only 10 catches for 30 yards on the season. The lack of pass-catching production caps his ceiling, and Harvey’s presence makes Dobbins’ floor less than sturdy. Plus, the Broncos have some tough running-game matchups in the fantasy playoffs, facing the Packers in Week 15 and the Chiefs in Week 17. If I have the luxury of RB depth, I might try to trade Dobbins for a receiver such as Zay Flowers, DeVonta Smith or Tee Higgins.”
