Fantasy Basketball Trade Advice (Week 6)
Trade For
Keyonte George (PG, SG – UTA)
For anyone not paying attention to the Jazz, the Keyonte George breakout is in full effect.
After the departure of Jordan Clarkson and Collin Sexton in the offseason, George has taken control of Utah’s 14th-ranked offense in points per game. The third-year lead guard is posting career-best marks in every box score stat except three-point rate.
What makes George such a coveted fantasy asset is his 34.7 minutes and 7.1 assists per game, which rank 10th among all players.
For a player averaging more fantasy points than Jimmy Butler III, Franz Wagner and Zion Williamson, you’d think George would be more of a talking point.

Jaime Jaquez Jr. (PF, SF, SG – MIA)
The return of Tyler Herro has spelled bad news for Jaime Jaquez Jr. and his fantasy stock in just two games.
Herro went a combined 21-of-33 from the field in his first two games back from ankle surgery. That is, of course, incredible, but it has also limited Jaquez’s involvement.
Wednesday night saw Jaquez log just 17 minutes after not playing fewer than 24 in any other game this season. It’s important to note that Jaquez has been dealing with a groin strain. Still, to miss time or play hurt with a high-volume player like Herro returning strong does double the damage.

Trade For
Cameron Johnson (SF, PF – DEN)
Cameron Johnson has finally strung together encouraging performances.
The 6-foot-8 wing is averaging 22 points, 5.7 rebounds, two assists, one steal and 0.7 blocks over his last three games. Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets need Johnson to step up to replace Christian Braun and Aaron Gordon, who are both set to miss over a month with ankle and hamstring injuries.
Johnson has always been an efficient player, and playing alongside Jokic should only help. Look for this boost in production and volume to stick around for a while.

Jakob Poeltl (C – TOR)
Jakob Poeltl ranks second in the NBA in field goal rate among qualifying players. Yet, he’s having his worst fantasy season in years.
The emergence of Sandro Mamukelashvili off the bench and the steady play of rookie Collin Murray-Boyles have eaten into Poeltl’s minutes enough. His average of 26 minutes per game is his lowest amount since 2019.
With Poeltl ranking fifth on the Raptors in points per game, his 8.1 rebounds per game are the only thing keeping him a viable fantasy option.
