Fantasy Football Injuries to Know for Week 17
TreVeyon Henderson (RB – NE)
TreVeyon Henderson (concussion) practiced in non-contact jersey on Friday.
Initially, I was skeptical of TreVeyon Henderson’s chances of playing in Week 17 in a winnable game against the Jets. However, the promising rookie running back practiced in a non-contact jersey on Friday.
That bodes well for Henderson’s chances of suiting up in this smash spot in the fantasy football championship.
A.J. Brown (WR – PHI)
A.J. Brown (teeth) returned to practice on Friday.
A.J. Brown missed practice after removing his wisdom teeth, but it’s encouraging to see him return to practice on Friday.
This means Brown is going to play this week, but I’d temper your expectations considering he missed some practice.
Josh Allen (QB – BUF)
Josh Allen (foot) isgood to go for Week 17.
Josh Allen is good to go for a potential Super Bowl preview against the Eagles in Week 17. While this was always the expectation, it’s nice to hear confirmation.
With that said, it wouldn’t surprise me to see Allen run less than usual since he’s banged up with this foot injury.
George Kittle (TE – SF)
George Kittle (ankle) is a game-time decision for Week 17.
George Kittle is a game-time decision due to an ankle injury. I’d lean towards him not playing, considering how much practice time he’s missed this week.
If you’re in a tough spot, pick up Jake Tonges as a backup plan as you wait for Kittle news for Sunday Night Football.
Rome Odunze (WR – CHI)
Rome Odunze (foot) didn’t practice on Thursday.
Rome Odunze is likely to miss another game after failing to return to practice.
However, Luther Burden III is likely to get back in action, meaning DJ Moore isn’t as trustworthy this time around.
Lamar Jackson (QB – BAL)
Lamar Jackson (back) is doubtful for Week 17.
Lamar Jackson looks unlikely to play in a must-win game against the Packers on Saturday.
It’s been a highly disappointing season for Jackson, as he’s dealt with injuries throughout the year. Hopefully, we can see him bounce back next season. Jackson’s absence makes me concerned for Zay Flowers versus a tough Packers defense.
Jordan Love (QB – GB)
Jordan Love (concussion) is questionable for Week 17.
Jordan Love is questionable for Saturday’s game against the Ravens. The Packers are in a tough spot with Malik Willis also questionable.
I’d bet that Love will be able to play, as he was able to practice this week. If not, it could be an ugly battle of the backups in this spot.
Dalton Kincaid (TE – BUF)
Dalton Kincaid (knee) missed practice on Thursday.
Dalton Kincaid’s status is in question after missing practice on Thursday. With Josh Allen already banged up with a foot injury, we should continue to see a run-heavy approach from the Bills.
Kincaid has been a highly efficient player this season, so his absence will be felt.
