Week 17 is here, so it’s time to build some NFL DFS cash game lineups.
Remember, when playing cash games, you want to target players with a nice combination of floor and ceiling. If there is a “free square” on the board, that is: A significantly underpriced player thrust into a huge bump in usage, then you can play them without thinking about how popular they’ll be among the field.
With that in mind, read on to learn more about my favorite DFS cash game picks for Week 17. We’ll provide pricing from both FanDuel and DraftKings for these picks. I’ll keep it tight, with two picks for each position.

Week 17 NFL DFS Cash Game Advice & Picks
The players below are the ones I’m looking at for NFL DFS cash game considerations this week.
Quarterbacks
Drake Maye (QB – NE) at NYJ | DraftKings: $6,800/FanDuel: $8,400
Maye is currently QB4 with 20.7 fantasy points per game. The second-year quarterback has 20+ fantasy points in three consecutive games.
We saw the Jets give up 40+ fantasy points to Trevor Lawrence back in Week 15. It wouldn’t surprise me to see a spike week from Maye as he pads his stats to try to win MVP.
Joe Burrow (QB – CIN) vs. ARI | DraftKings: $6,500/FanDuel: $8,700
Burrow is coming off a huge game against the Dolphins, where he put up 29 fantasy points, finishing as QB5 on the slate. We could see another spike week at home vs. the Cardinals.
This game has the highest total on the slate, so we’re likely to get fireworks here. We could see a game environment where it comes down to the wire, making a game stack viable as both quarterbacks air it out.
Running Backs
Jeanty had a huge game against the Texans last week, finishing as the overall RB1 for Week 16. That was against one of the best defenses in the NFL, but now he’ll get to take on one of the worst, the Giants.
With Brock Bowers out for the season, bet on Jeanty to be the absolute focal point of the Raiders’ offense this week.
Carter was disappointing last week, but he was still efficient on the ground, rushing for 60+ yards on only 11 carries. Perhaps the Cardinals will give him a bit more work this time around.
It’s a terrific matchup against the Bengals, who have one of the worst run defenses in the NFL.

Wide Receivers
Chase has 100+ receiving yards in each of his last two games. It feels about that time for one of those massive spike weeks from one of the best receivers in the NFL.
With a 53+ point total, this game against the Cardinals is one that you’re going to want to invest in. Starting with a Burrow-Chase stack makes a lot of sense.
Thomas Jr. is set to take on a Colts defense that he has dominated throughout his career, racking up 80+ yards in three matchups.
The Colts rank near the bottom of the NFL in fantasy points per game allowed to wideouts, coming off a spot where they got torched by Brock Purdy. Don’t be surprised to see a spike week here.
Tight Ends
The best tight end in the NFL is set to go up against a defense that has been historically bad against tight ends this season.
It’s the right game environment for McBride to go off, as the matchup vs the Bengals has the highest total on the slate. We could see 10+ receptions for 100+ yards, so you’re going to want McBride in your lineup.
Juwan Johnson (TE – NO) at TEN | DraftKings: $4,200/FanDuel: $5,200
Johnson is coming off a huge game against the Jets, where he hauled in eight catches for 89 yards.
Up next is a good spot against a pass-funnel Titans defense. With the Saints having an injury-plagued backfield, we could see Tyler Shough continue to chuck it downfield to Johnson over the seams.
