Week 16 is here, so it’s time to build some NFL DFS cash game lineups.
Remember, when playing cash games, you want to target players with a nice combination of floor and ceiling. If there is a “free square” on the board, that is: A significantly underpriced player thrust into a huge bump in usage, then you can play them without thinking about how popular they’ll be among the field.
With that in mind, read on to learn more about my favorite DFS cash game picks for Week 16. We’ll provide pricing from both FanDuel and DraftKings for these picks. I’ll keep it tight, with two picks for each position.

Week 16 NFL DFS Cash Game Advice & Picks
The players below are the ones I’m looking at for NFL DFS cash game considerations this week.
Quarterbacks
Tyler Shough (QB – NO) vs. NYJ | DraftKings: $5,400/FanDuel: $6,800
Tyler Shough has quietly been rock-solid in fantasy football since taking over as the starting quarterback, especially in recent games. In the last three weeks, Shough is averaging 19.6 fantasy points per game, which ranks as the fantasy QB10 during that stretch.
You have to love the rushing volume, as Shough has racked up 21 carries during that span, including two rushing touchdowns against the Buccaneers. He has a terrific matchup this week against a Jets defense that has been torched by the Jaguars and Dolphins in the last two games.
Jacoby Brissett continues to be one of the most consistent producers at the quarterback position. Since taking over as the starting quarterback, Brissett is averaging 21.2 fantasy points per game, which ranks as the fantasy QB4 over that timeframe.
Brissett has had a high floor, with his worst game being 18.7 fantasy points. The Falcons’ defense isn’t exactly one to fear, so fire up Brissett, especially on DraftKings, where he continues to be too cheap.
Running Backs
Bijan Robinson is coming off a spike week against the Buccaneers, where he racked up 29.5 PPR points. That’s great news for the upcoming matchup against the Cardinals. We’ve seen Arizona get gashed on the ground by the likes of Jawhar Jordan in recent weeks. Don’t be surprised if Robinson has another eruption game.
Jahmyr Gibbs gave us a dud against the Rams last week, but we’ve seen what he can do at home. Just think back to that game against the Giants earlier this year.
The Steelers have been gashed on the ground at times this season, including 140+ yards allowed to James Cook. With the Lions having one of the highest implied totals on the slate, Gibbs looks like a great play this week.

Wide Receivers
Since we’re paying up at running back, we desperately need salary relief, so we’ll turn to Jalen Coker.
The Panthers’ No. 2 wideout has found the end zone in back-to-back games. We just saw Kyle Pitts torch this Buccaneers defense while working as the de facto No. 1 receiver. With Tetairoa McMillan banged up, ride with Coker at a cheap cost.
Xavier Worthy has been a major disappointment this season, but with Rashee Rice dealing with a concussion, it may be time for a spike week.
As with Coker, Worthy gives us salary relief after we paid up at running back. The matchup is a good one, even with Gardner Minshew under center instead of Patrick Mahomes. We just saw Jauan Jennings score two touchdowns against this Titans defense.
Tight Ends
Darren Waller scored two touchdowns last week. Up next is a smash spot against the worst defense against tight ends.
I know Tua Tagovailoa has been benched for Quinn Ewers, but it’s not like the former starter was any good this season. What if Ewers gives the Dolphins a spark on offense? Waller looks like a much better value on DraftKings.
The Broncos have a tough defense, but they rank 28th in fantasy points per game allowed to tight ends. With how well Trevor Lawrence is playing, there’s a chance this game is higher scoring than expected.
We just saw Jordan Love throw for 270+ yards in a 34-26 loss against this Broncos defense. If we see a similar game script versus the Jaguars, Strange has a great chance to reap the rewards.
