3 Dynasty Rookie Sleepers: Quarterbacks (2026 Fantasy Football)

With the 2026 NFL Draft behind us and rosters (for the most part) settled, we have a clearer picture of what depth charts will look like. Below are three dynasty fantasy football rookie sleeper quarterbacks, taking into account their current teams and the situations in which we could see them hit the starting lineup in the near(ish) future.

Drew Allar (QB – PIT)

The Steelers took Drew Allar with the No. 76 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, and he landed on a depth chart with Mason Rudolph, Will Howard and, more than likely, Aaron Rodgers.

Allar joins the team as the quarterback that the current administration of Mike McCarthy and Omar Khan drafted. Yes, Khan was there last year when Howard was picked, but that was when Mike Tomlin was the head coach, and the draft capital was a sixth-round pick.

Rodgers, if he does play, may have only another year or so left in the tank. After he’s gone, Allar would be my early favorite to be the next Steelers starting quarterback. Allar’s college career ended with an injury, and it never really all came together, but the offense he was in was not right for him.

Allar’s average depth of target (aDOT) dropped from 9.1 in 2024 to 8.1. In 2024, only 11.4% of his pass attempts traveled 20+ yards downfield, and he was excellent on those, throwing 11 touchdowns and two interceptions. Allar will be successful in the NFL under McCarthy.

Carson Beck (QB – ARI)

Of all the quarterbacks drafted after Fernando Mendoza was selected No. 1 overall, Carson Beck is the best bet to see the field. He lands in a situation, as a third-round pick, where he’s behind Jacoby Brissett and Gardner Minshew on the depth chart.

Brissett is currently asking for more money and to be paid like a starter, but it wouldn’t be shocking to see the Cardinals let Beck start from Week 1.

Beck has plenty of experience, starting 43 games in college since 2023 with the Georgia Bulldogs and the Miami Hurricanes. His arm strength doesn’t appear as strong since his UCL surgery, but that could always rebound.

Last season in Miami, Beck completed 72.4% of his passes for 3,813 yards, 30 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. Beck threw for 11,725 yards, 88 touchdowns and 32 interceptions in college and played in many big games. He could step into a lineup with weapons like Marvin Harrison Jr., Michael Wilson, Trey McBride and Jeremiyah Love and put up respectable numbers.

Garrett Nussmeier (QB – KC)

We know we’ll never see Garrett Nussmeier under center for the Chiefs so long as Patrick Mahomes is around, but he’ll enter the 2026 season as the No. 3 QB behind him and Justin Fields. I don’t believe Chris Oladokun can beat him out for the final spot.

Nussmeier had a rough 2025 after some injuries and subpar offensive line play. I believe the injuries significantly impacted his throwing velocity and overall accuracy. His completion rate in 2024 was just 64%, but he threw for 4,043 yards, 29 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. His aDOT was 9.5. In 2025, it was just 7.0.

The Chiefs rookie signal-caller is a bit undersized, but he has arm talent when healthy. As a seventh-round pick, he’s going to a system under Andy Reid and behind Mahomes, which will help elevate him to a contender for a starting job a few years down the line.
