Two-Start Rostered Pitchers Notes

Chris Sale gets two dream matchups in Week 8. The Nationals have the fifth-highest strikeout rate against left-handed pitchers, and the Marlins are in the bottom 10 in wOBA against lefties. He’s currently riding a four-game win streak while maintaining an elite strikeout rate (29.9%).
Framber Valdez has been the topic of conversation of late. His last start saw him get ejected after three innings and 10 runs (seven earned). He was suspended for five games. The Guardians have one of the better strikeout rates against southpaws at 18.3%. The Orioles, on the other hand, strike out the eighth-most at 24.2%.

Two-Start Streamer Options Notes

Griffin Jax has been moved to the rotation and has started in his last three outings. In his last start, he built up to 59 pitches across four innings. Over his nine innings as a starter, he’s put up a 2.00 ERA and 1.00 WHIP with seven strikeouts to three walks.
Robby Snelling made his season debut on Friday against the Nationals (he allowed three earned runs in five innings while striking out two and walking four in a loss). In 29 minor league innings this season, he recorded a 1.86 ERA, 0.90 WHIP, 13.6 K/9 and 4.6 BB/9. His first matchup in Week 8 against the Braves is terrifying, but the Orioles aren’t as scary.
