Fortunately for Cease, he’s catching Houston at the right time, as they’re 21st in wRC+ (90) with a 23.3% strikeout rate in the previous 30 days. The Blue Jays are -130 favorites, and the game’s total is a pitcher-friendly seven runs.
Kyle Bradish hasn’t been a model of consistency, but he’s demonstrated the ability to twirl gems this year, including in his last start. In addition, Bradish is in decent form, with the following stats in his last five starts, totaling 28.2 innings:

They are also 29th in wRC+ (76) with a 31% strikeout rate in the previous 30 days. The Orioles are -160 favorites, and the game’s total is nine runs.

Brady Singer is a train wreck this season, with a 5.32 ERA, 5.79 xERA, 4.70 xFIP, 4.64 SIERA and 1.61 WHIP in 14 starts.
Moreover, he’s yielded a .409 wOBA to lefties and a .371 wOBA to righties. The Reds also have a lousy bullpen, ranking 26th in ERA (4.88) in 2026. The Brewers can hammer Singer at hitter-and-homer-friendly Great American “Small” Park.
Among tonight’s 18 probable starters, Merrill Kelly is 17th in ERA (5.81), 18th in xERA (7.47), 17th in xFIP (5.36), 17th in SIERA (5.39) and tied for 14th in WHIP (1.51) this season.

However, Brown’s 29.3% Zone% and 47.6% F-Strike% in that start are red flags. In addition, the Blue Jays are first in strikeout rate (19.1%) versus righties and eighth in strikeout rate (20.3%) at home this season.
Matt Olson has tallied 80 hits, including 20 homers, with 53 runs, 51 RBI, a .271 batting average, .343 OBP, .268 ISO, .376 wOBA and 139 wRC+ in 76 games and 332 plate appearances this season.
