Two-Start Rostered Pitchers Notes
- Chris Sale was in this section last week, but the rotation changed, lining him up for a double start in Week 13 now. He gets the Padres with the fifth-worst wOBA against southpaws, and the Giants, who are middle-of-the-pack. As has been the case most of his career, he’s been excellent this season. Sale just needs to stay healthy.
- Hunter Brown is expected to return from his shoulder injury on Monday. That would line him up for two starts during the Astros’ seven-game Week 13 schedule. He’ll return to a 1-0 record while allowing only one earned run with 17 strikeouts in his first 10.2 innings.
- Kyle Bradish has disappointed so far. His K/9 is his lowest since 2023 at 8.96. Although he had a 2.83 ERA and 1.04 WHIP in that season. The velocity and spin of his pitches don’t look too different from last season, but he’s walking more batters than ever before. He gets the Angels, the most strikeout-prone team against righties, before facing the Nationals, who don’t strike out as much.

Two Start Streamer Notes
- Robbie Ray started the year off pretty well before his then-shortest outing of the season on May 13th. That game started a run of four straight starts where Ray failed to complete the fifth inning. Since that date, he has a 7.16 ERA, 1.88 WHIP, 6.2 K/9 and no quality starts in six starts over 27.2 innings. He gets the Athletics and Braves in Week 13, both of whom rank in the top 10 in wOBA against left-handed pitchers.
- Gage Jump gets the Giants and Angels in his double-start week. He’s been solid through four starts with a 3.09 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 3.1 K/BB. The Angels strike out seventh-most against southpaws, and the Giants are average, ranking 15th.
- Foster Griffin gets two teams in the bottom 10 in wOBA against left-handed pitchers in the Phillies and Orioles. He’s pitched pretty well this year with a 3.46 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, 8.5 K/9 and .305 wOBA allowed. The Nationals are second in the league in runs scored, and he’s got a chance to add to his seven wins.
