Yards Per Fantasy

DeAndre Hopkins (WR - ARI)
Sat, Sep 12
Player Note on DeAndre Hopkins (WR - ARI)
I'm expecting the new QB/WR connection to take some time to gel. Hopkins will be all over the formation and will still show flashes of his elite upside but this is a tough matchup to start the year with a new quarterback
Chris Godwin (WR - TB)
Sat, Sep 12
Player Note on Chris Godwin (WR - TB)
This game could be a shootout between two of the elder statesmen quarterbacks, and their receivers have all got an opportunity for big games. I'm looking at Godwin being Brady's go-to guy early on and being the biggest beneficiary of the volume in week one - in this game last year he scored 125 yards and 2 touchdowns on 9 targets. With Evans now also likely to be out, it's opening right up for Godwin
Marvin Jones Jr. (WR - DET)
Sat, Sep 12
Player Note on Marvin Jones Jr. (WR - DET)
With Golladay looking like he'll be out in this game, Jones is going to be the number one target for Stafford. This should put him in a great spot against the Bears to put up numbers
Michael Gallup (WR - DAL)
Sat, Sep 12
Player Note on Michael Gallup (WR - DAL)
Jalen Ramsey is going to be all over Amari Cooper so that's going to open things up for the other targets. Lamb is playing in his first game so I expect Gallup to benefit the most from the single coverage, in a game that should be a shoot out
Will Fuller V (WR - HOU)
Wed, Sep 9
Player Note on Will Fuller V (WR - HOU)
With Brandin Cooks limited, I've upgraded Fuller's target share. The Texans will need to throw to keep up in this game and Fuller could be the go-to target against an underwhelming Chiefs secondary. If Cooks is declared out, Fuller will be top 12
Mike Gesicki (TE - MIA)
Tue, Sep 8
Player Note on Mike Gesicki (TE - MIA)
Don't be frightened off by the Dolphins official depth chart. Miami don't have too many receivers and Gesicki played out of the slot a lot last year and expect him to line up as a receiver to start the year at least - that gives him more opportunity to run routes and put up points
Blake Jarwin (TE - DAL)
Tue, Sep 8
Player Note on Blake Jarwin (TE - DAL)
Tight ends have consistently been a safety valve for the Cowboys and Jarwin showed flashes of what he can do. With targets now opening up for him, he's a shot for a touchdown in week one
Chris Herndon IV (TE - NYJ)
Tue, Sep 8
Player Note on Chris Herndon IV (TE - NYJ)
The Jets aren't an exciting team to project big things for but they are devoid of pass-catchers and are going to be behind in this game. You can play Herndon in week one with confidence in his volume
Noah Fant (TE - DEN)
Tue, Sep 8
Player Note on Noah Fant (TE - DEN)
Fant is a popular pick to take a year two jump and displayed some upside last year. While the rookie receivers are getting up to speed, I expect Fant to get some of the trusted early work that will make him a TE1 to start the year
Zach Ertz (TE - PHI)
Tue, Sep 8
Player Note on Zach Ertz (TE - PHI)
Once again, the Eagles find themselves with injuries in their receiving corps. And once again, Ertz is going to be the winner out of that. He's a locked and loaded TE1 but I expect the Eagles to find some other creative ways to move the ball without relying solely on him again
