Player Note on Jaylen Samuels (RB - PIT)
Depending on Conner's health, this spot will be taken by the starter.
Player Note on Travis Kelce (TE - KC)
Kelce, even without Mahomes this week again, is a must-start. He has lost some luster from previous seasons but remains consistently a top tier TE.
Player Note on Darren Waller (TE - OAK)
Waller reminds me of Kittle from last year. So far Carr has relied on him getting into the endzone and getting those extra yards after the catch.
Player Note on George Kittle (TE - SF)
Kittle is an automatic #1 placement going up against the TE welcoming Arizona Cardinals.
Player Note on Julian Edelman (WR - NE)
Edelman's health has been a worry. This chest issue does not limit him like a legs injury of some sort and thats why he deserves to be started everywhere. He will continue to be the man in NE even with Sanu coming in.
Player Note on Mike Evans (WR - TB)
Similar to Godwin's note, you have to consider the risk of each of them. Although they both put up at least WR2 numbers every week, you'll have to bank on your guy getting the ceiling performance.
Player Note on Chris Godwin (WR - TB)
Godwin has the highest ceiling in the league. With that high ceiling, he also has a considerable floor. With Evans on the other side one will go off, but it won't be Godwin every week.
Player Note on Kenny Golladay (WR - DET)
Golladay has developed into a very reliable high-end WR1. Oakland does not pose a threat to his climb.
Player Note on DeAndre Hopkins (WR - HOU)
Hopkins will be able to get things done this week. He has had off weeks but he will remind us why he is the #1 WR in the league.
