Madison Bumgarner placed on the disabled list

The San Fransisco Giants have placed ace Madison Bumgarner on disabled list with bruised ribs and a grade one left shoulder AC sprain. Bum got the injuries while dirt biking in Denver during the Giants off-day. He will be re-evaluated next week but is projected to miss 6-8 weeks. (Ken Rosenthal on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Mad Bum has been solid all year with a 3.00 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, and 28 strikeouts in 27 innings pitched but has an 0-3 record. With Bumgarner out it will take a lot to replace him but it does not seem like it will be a long-term injury. Tyler Beede is an option to replaced Bumgarner during his absence but you should be able to find better options on the waiver.
