Joel Sherman and Ken Rosenthal have both reported that Freddie Freeman fractured his left wrist and will be out at least eight weeks. Freeman had been hit by a pitch on his wrist on Wednesday night. (Joel Sherman on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

This is a devastating blow for Freeman, the Braves, and fantasy owners. If there's even a small silver lining, it's that Freeman won't need surgery, so chances are he will come back at full strength when he returns. But for now, Freeman owners need to scour the waiver wire for a first base replacement for at least a couple of months.
