Chapman developed the infection over the last few weeks. He's out indefinitely for now. While he's an upgrade defensively, it's unknown how his bat will play in the majors. He carries a ton of power upside, but he also struggles with contact and strikeouts, leading to a 3-for-14 start with seven Ks.
