Pedro Alvarez pinch hits in Friday’s loss

Pedro Alvarez was called off the bench to pinch hit and proceeded to strike out on Friday as the Orioles lost to the Yankees.
Fantasy Impact:
Alvarez has been getting most of the starts at designated hitter for the Orioles in May. He has managed to hit eight home runs this season, but continues to struggle in the average department. Alvarez has been better at taking walks at a higher rate this season. He should continue to provide power in spurts, as he has two multi-home run games this season. It’s also likely he will continue to hit .200 or less.
