Christian Villanueva expected to see time at second base going forward

In addition to giving Wil Myers a look at third base down the stretch, the San Diego Padres are expected to play third baseman Christian Villanueva at both second base and shortstop in an effort to see just how versatile of a roster they have heading into the offseason. (AJ Cassavell on Twitter )

Fantasy Impact:

Villanueva exploded onto the scene with a monster April that saw him hit .321 with eight home runs, but he quickly faded and hit below .200 over the next three months. For the season, he is hitting .234 with 20 home runs, 45 RBIs, 42 runs scored, and three stolen bases in 104 games.
