Danny Santana (elbow) undergoes surgery, out 7-8 months

Fantasy Impact:
This was major surgery as Santana is expected to be out 7-8 months. The exact procedure was a form of Tommy John surgery without the insertion of another human tendon, however. Santana was a fantasy busy in 2020, hitting .145 with a .511 OPS. He'll aim to be ready for spring training, 2021.
