Padres reliever Keone Kela will miss the remainder of the 2021 season due to Tommy John surgery. Kela underwent the surgery today, May 19th. (A.J. Cassavell on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
After a 24 save season in 2018, Kela's career has taken a downward trend outside of a small 2019 sample of 29.2 innings with a 2.12 ERA. This will keep him out of the 2021 season and likely into part of the 2022 season.
