Catcher Will Smith went 1-for-4 with a single and two strikeouts in the Dodgers' 5-2 loss to the D-Backs on Friday.

Smith was one of just four Dodgers to collect a hit on Friday as they couldn't get much going against Taylor Widener and company. The 25-year-old backstop has struggled recently, batting just .182 over the last seven games and .191 over the last 15. He's probably just ready for the All-Star break. Overall, he's slashing .254/.354/.447 to go along with 10 home runs, 31 RBI, and one stolen base over 228 at-bats.
