Angel Zerpa allowed no earned runs on three hits and a walk while striking out four across five innings during Thursday's 6-1 loss against Cleveland.
Fantasy Impact:
Zerpa (0-1) was promoted for Thursday's game following a single start in Triple-A. The 22-year-old has spent most of 2021 in Double-A. While unfortunately taking the loss, Zerpa still owns an ERA of 0.00. The left-hander will most likely start 2022 in the minors with Thursday's start aiding to the promise of a young Kansas City rotation.
