Tucker Barnhart traded to Tigers

Tucker Barnhart was traded to the Detroit Tigers in exchange for infield prospect Nick Quintana. The Tigers immediately exercised Barnhart's $7.5M team option. (Jon Heyman on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Barnhart was not particularly useful in fantasy leagues in 2021, posting a .247/.317/.368 slash line in 388 plate appearances. More importantly, Tyler Stephenson should have a full share of the Reds' catching duties in 2022, after posting a 111 wRC+ over 402 PAs. Incumbent Tigers' catcher Eric Haase's playing time will also be impacted, after hitting 22 homers in just 381 PAs in 2021.
