Kike Hernandez to begin short rehab assignment this week

Kike Hernandez is slated to start a short rehab assignment either on Tuesday or Wednesday. It is possible that he is activated from the IL before the Red Sox begin their road trip on June 24th. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Hernandez has been on the IL since June 8th with a right hip flexor strain. Before landing on the IL, he was slashing .209/.273/.340 with four home runs, and 24 RBIs. He is currently ranked eighth in the AL in doubles, which would be a welcome addition back to some fantasy managers lineups when he returns.
