Springer has been out for several days now with his elbow injury and was not available to pinch-hit on Friday. It's unclear if he is available to pinch-hit on Saturday, but the fact that he hasn't yet been placed on the IL is a good sign that his injury isn't overly serious. Monitor the news and hopefully, he will return on Sunday.
