Shawn Armstrong records first save Monday night

Shawn Armstrong gave up no hits and struck out one to record his first save of the season while securing a 2-1 win for the Rays over the Angels on Monday night.
Fantasy Impact:
The 31-year-old reliever has enjoyed quite a bit of success in his past seven games, striking out 14 batters in 9 2/3 innings while allowing only seven hits and two earned runs. Even though the Rays' bullpen is fluid and no one can predict save opportunities, Armstrong can boost counting stats and ratios with a bonus being an occasional save. If he is available on waivers, he could be a great asset for fantasy managers down the stretch.
