Alex Wood picked up the loss after allowing four runs on six hits while striking out four in three innings of Friday's 9-0 loss to the Twins.
Fantasy Impact:
Wood has been one of the worst pitchers in baseball this month, recording three starts where he allowed six earned runs or more. The lefthander has an 8.53 ERA to go along with a .291 batting average against in August, good for a record of 1-3. It may be tough for the veteran to turn things around against the Padres on Wednesday.
