Cade Cavalli struggled on the mound in his big-league debut Friday, allowing seven runs on six hits while also walking two and striking out six in 4 1/3 innings in the Nationals' 7-3 loss to the Reds.
Fantasy Impact:
Cavalli was unable to fool Reds hitters Friday in his major league debut, allowing a .333 batting average. The 24-year-old right-hander will look to turn things around in his next scheduled start for the Nationals. Cavalli has been solid in Triple-A Rochester, posting a 3.71 ERA and 1.18 WHIP with 104 strikeouts in 20 starts (6-4).
