Dillon Tate earns the save Friday
by Owen Klukas | Sat, Sep 10th 3:59am EDT
Dillon Tate allowed zero earned runs on one hit over 1 1/3 innings Friday versus the Red Sox, earning the save in the 3-2 victory. The right-hander struck out one and yielded zero walks in the 15-pitch outing.
Fantasy Impact:
Tate was given the save opportunity Friday with Felix Bautista resting his arm. The righty has been very solid recently with two saves and two wins in his last four outings. The Los Angeles native owns a 2.66 ERA, 0.96 WHIP, 7.69 K/9, and four saves in 64.1 innings pitched this season. However, the 28-year-old remains behind Bautista on the O's closer depth chart.
