Anthony Rendon (wrist) took batting practice on the field Monday. He is expected to be activated before the end of the season. (Jeff Fletcher on Twitter)
This was the first time Rendon has taken BP since his wrist surgery in June and it seems like his overall recovery progress has been good. He does have a 5 game suspension from June that he still has to serve, but Rendon still wants to play before the end of the season for some peace of mind. He figures to be activated sometime in mid-September, serve the 5 game suspension, and then play the last week or so.
