Fantasy Impact:
Atkins explained to the media on Thursday that Kikuchi's track record has the club believing in him entering the 2023 season. The 2022 season was a roller coaster for the left-hander who ended up with a 5.19 ERA and 12.8% BB% across 20 starts and 12 relief outings. On the surface, the track record isn't all too impressive as the 31-year-old owns a career 5.02 ERA and 1.72 HR/9 across 466 1/3 big-league frames. Nonetheless, it appears the Blue Jays will give Kikuchi an opportunity to bounce back in the 2023 campaign.
