Fantasy Impact:
The right-hander pitched one inning on Saturday and plans to throw two more Wednesday before potentially getting into a spring game. Bello posted a 4.71 ERA between 11 starts and 13 appearances with Boston last season while also impressing with a 2.76 ERA and a monster 33.8% K-rate at Triple-A. He will compete with Garrett Whitlock and James Paxton for starts at the back end of the Red Sox rotation in 2023.
