Fantasy Impact:

Astros skipper Dusty Baker said Brantley was unable to do much in terms of baseball activities while away and it "will be close" to whether he will be ready for Opening Day. Brantley hit .288 with five home runs and an 11.2% walk rate that exceeded his 10.8% K-rate in his age-35 season for the Astros in 2022. However, his lack of power, speed, and significant injury risk make Brantley a more valuable player to the Astros than he would be to a fantasy roster.
