Miami Marlins outfielder Peyton Burdick underwent an MRI on his right big toe after getting treatment over the last few days. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Interestingly, Burdick doesn't know how or when he sustained the big toe sprain but the club wanted to get an image to determine how to treat the injury. The 26-year-old made his MLB debut last season, hitting .207 with four homers and a stolen base alongside a .664 OPS across 32 games. He's shown solid power and speed in the minors but also has a history of elevated strikeout numbers as he competes for a fourth outfielder role with the Marlins in camp this spring.
