Hutchison, the Blue Jays' 2015 Opening Day starter, returned to the club on a minors deal this winter after spending the last two seasons with the Detroit Tigers. Thankfully, Blue Jays skipper John Schneider said an MRI revealed nothing major or structural to the oblique. Hutchison made 28 appearances (18 starts) with the Tigers last season, turning in a 4.63 ERA alongside a minuscule 5.6% K-BB% ratio. He is competing for a rotation depth role in his return to the Blue Jays in 2023.
