Red Sox pitcher Joely Rodriguez exited his Saturday outing with pain in his right torso. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Rodriguez appeared to be in significant pain after throwing an eighth-inning pitch and left the game immediately. While he's pitched to a 4.47 ERA or worse in each of the last two seasons, he also owns a 3.43 FIP or better in each campaign while he turned in a healthy 26.4% K-rate in 55 appearances with the Mets in 2022. The southpaw's Opening Day availability certainly appears to be in jeopardy given the look of Saturday's injury.
