It's a scary development for both the team and player after the D-backs acquired the former top prospect in an off-season trade with the Toronto Blue Jays. Moreno's elite contact skills were on full display in a 25-game cameo with the Blue Jays last season as he hit .319 with a minuscule 11% K-rate across 73 trips to the plate. His power remains in development mode but the 23-year-old is well on his way to a productive big-league career at the plate.
