Marcus Semien went 2-for-5 with a run scored and a stolen base in Thursday's 11-7 Opening Day win over the Phillies.
Fantasy Impact:
The veteran was manning the keystone and batting leadoff in this one, which should give him plenty of chances to score runs for an improved Rangers lineup. Semien had a moderately high ADP this offseason, mainly because he is one of the few difference-makers at the second base position. He offers 30/20 potential with his pop and the rule changes that favour base-stealing. Be sure to plug Semien into your lineup all season with confidence in all formats.
