Pablo Lopez strikes out eight in Twins debut

Pablo Lopez tossed 5 1/3 shutout innings in a 2-0 win over the Royals on Opening Day. Lopez struck out eight while walking three and scattered two hits to earn the win.
Fantasy Impact:
Lopez looked good in his Minnesota debut after an offseason trade from the Marlins. He tossed 50 of his 85 pitches for strikes while racking up 17 swinging strikes. Lopez could be lined up to face his old team next week when his spot comes up in the rotation.
