Wong briefly played hero on Monday with a two-run, pinch-hit homer in the ninth to put his club ahead but the Twins rallied to tie it and win it in extra innings. The homer was just the second of the season for the veteran who has struggled to a disastrous .162 average alongside just one steal and a .473 OPS across 201 plate appearances.
