Frankie Montas 'feeling his best' since the 2022 season

It was soon after that point when Montas started to battle a shoulder injury which has impacted him ever since. He was limited to just 1 1/3 innings last season with the Yankees, which led to him signing a one-year deal with the Reds this offseason. “I’m healthy, baby,” Montas said. “When I’m healthy, I know how to pitch. This is a team that treats everyone like family. When you have a good team like that, good things happen. It gives you the motivation to be the best version of yourself.”
