Adley Rutschman homers twice in live BP and looks refreshed in camp

Adley Rutschman launched two home runs during Monday’s spring training workout, taking Grayson Rodriguez and Albert Suarez deep, The Baltimore Sun reports. The 27-year-old backstop struggled in the second half of 2024, slashing .207/.282/.303, but he appears rejuvenated heading into Orioles camp.
Fantasy Impact:
After catching 100 games last season between the regular season and playoffs, Rutschman could see more rest days or DH appearances to stay fresh throughout 2025. With James McCann gone, the Orioles signed Gary Sánchez to a one-year, $8.5 million deal, which could provide Rutschman additional opportunities to lighten his workload behind the plate. Fantasy managers should still view him as one of the top catching options in all formats.
