Yency Almonte inks minors deal with Cubs

Almonte will return to the Cubs' organization after appearing in 17 games with the team last season. He posted a 3.45 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, and 20 strikeouts in 15 2/3 innings pitched in 2024.
