Jacob Nottingham reassigned to minor league camp

The Mariners have reassigned Jacob Nottingham to Triple-A Tacoma, per team reports. (Mariners PR)
Fantasy Impact:
Nottingham was in camp competing for a backup catcher role but was always a long shot to break camp with the Mariners as long as Cal Raleigh and Mitch Garver remained healthy. The veteran backstop hasn’t appeared in the majors since 2021 and will serve as organizational depth at Triple-A Tacoma to begin the 2025 season.
