Jack Kochanowicz named Angels fifth starter

Manager Ron Washington confirmed Monday that Jack Kochanowicz will open the season as the Los Angeles Angels' fifth starter. (Bill Shaikin on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Kochanowicz had been competing with Reid Detmers for the final spot in the Angels' rotation and won the job. He posted a 3.99 ERA in 11 starts last year. Although he only had a 9.4 K%, he kept the ball in the park with a 0.96 HR/9 and could be worth a look in deeper leagues thanks to his ability to minimize the long ball.
