The Cardinals placed prospect Quinn Mathews on the minor league injured list with left shoulder soreness.
Fantasy Impact:
Matthews does not have a clear timetable to return from his shoulder injury. After blasting up the Cardinals farm system last year, he had gotten off to a rocky start this season.
