MacKenzie Gore dominates despite close win over Rockies
by Chris Schommer | Nationals Correspondent | Sun, Apr 20th 11:17am EDT
MacKenzie Gore struck out an impressive 13 batters while allowing two earned runs on four hits and two walks over six innings in Saturday's victory against the Rockies.
Fantasy Impact:
Gore continues a mostly steady stretch on the mound, recording seven or more strikeouts in four of five starts for the Nationals. The left-hander remains one of the few bright spots as part of an inconsistent Washington pitching staff for fantasy managers. After yesterday’s performance, Gore now holds a 3.41 ERA and 1.21 WHIP with a 14.0 K/9 across five starts this season, improving his record to 2-2.
